It is situated in the Nagar valley approximately 100 km north of the city of Gilgit. Rakaposhi means "Snow Covered" in the local language. Rakaposhi is also known as Dumani ("Mother of Mist"). It is ranked 27th highest in the world but it is more popular for its beauty than its rank might suggest.Rakaposhi was first climbed in 1958 by Mike Banks and Tom Paty, members of a British-Pakistani expedition, via the Southwest Spur/Ridge route.

Day-04 Excursion to Nanga Parbat
Day-05 Fairy Meadows- Tato village- Minapin
Day-06 Trek to Hapakun 4-5hrs
Day-07 Trek to Tagaphari (Rakaposhi BC)
Day-08 Excursion to Diran Peak base camp
Day-09 Hapakun- Minapin- Karimabad
Day-10 Visit Baltit & Altit Forts, Duiker
Day-11 Excursion to Attaabad Lake
Day-12 Drive to Besham 9-10hrs
Day-13 Drive to Islamabad 6-7hrs
